Heritage Museum Día De Los Muertos

Día de Los Muertos Fiesta

Explore the rich history and cultural significance of Day of the Dead traditions and festivities. Enjoy Mariachi entertainment, Folkloric Dance, face painting, and craft activities & workshops. Browse the Multi-cultural artisan market and taste authentic food, beverages, beer, wine, and Sangria. Celebrate departed loved ones by placing their framed photo at the community Ofrenda (memorial altar) or get creative and build your own individual memorial altar (application required). A family favorite, Pixar’s “Coco”, will be showing indoors at 5pm.

Muckenthaler Cultural Center: Día de Los Muertos Concert

Viva La Vida De Los Muertos Festival

Martin will present a cultural, historical and musical performance with beautiful, uplifting music, and great explanation that has been strongly researched by Martin. Martin actually presented some of the very first programs educating people about this wonderful holiday of honor. He will also recite poetry in the Nahuatl language by King Nezahualcoyotl. The program will be highly interactive with the audience “singing easy to sing songs in Native Languages” and playing from the immense collection of exotic percussion instruments that Martin will bring to share. This whole program is about love, honor and respect. Hope you can make it and it’s for all ages.
